Giving women the tools to educate and keep themselves safe whilst exercising pregnant, or returning to exercise postnatally. Pregnant and postnatal clients are a special population who deserve to be taken care of, and it needs to be done safely, effectively and thoughtfully.
Brooke knows first hand the demands that being a mum to small children can bring. When you prioritise your health and fitness it has a roll on effect which you and your family will reap the benefits!
Brooke has been immersed in the fitness industry for 15 years where she began as a Sales Consultant at Les Mills, whilst gaining her Bachelor of Sport and Exercise science and Post Graduate certificate. She then moved onto Fitness Consulting, Personal Training and Sports massage along with teaching modern dance after completing the AJDA Jazz and American Tap, BAL Ballet and Tap syllabi.
Over the last 10 years, Brooke has been a full time Personal Trainer and Wellbeing Coordinator in Hamilton NZ. Since having children Brooke has developed a new found passion; helping mums-to-be continue to exercise safely, and postnatal women return to exercise. Brooke believes in using exercise as a key component for maintaining your health and wellbeing.
I have found Brooke’s class really informative and great for moving my body. I have Found the knowledge that Brooke brings to this class in regard to movement change/providing alternative exercises and pelvic floor mindfulness has been amazing as my pregnancy has progressed. Brooke has provided a great environment to cater to the changing needs of my body and others in the class while working up a sweat for our different stages in a fun and safe space.
I am a first time mom-to-be who had just moved to Hamilton. I was looking for a workout class that not only specializes in pregnant-body-needs, but I also wanted to connect with other pregnant women to make my start in the city smoother.
Brooke offers a free trial class so I went for it. I really enjoyed it and signed up straight away. The Pregnancy and Postnatal Exercise Classes with Brooke include a 30 minute 1-on-1 session where she explains what and how to focus on. I like the fact that you can easily make it a daily workout routine at home too. I am glad I started going to Brooke’s classes at an early stage in my pregnancy, so I can prepare my body slowly for what’s coming. I already feel that I am getting stronger.
Brooke has been awesome in my fitness journey to get prepared for my next baby! She is super motivating, friendly and makes you feel comfortable and supported. I have loved the glow mamas class she has run and will continue to attend for as long as she is running it! Thanks Brooke!
