Rach’s mission is to empower mums to be the best version of themselves by providing education, rehabilitation and support across the whole health spectrum – from mindset and body awareness to safe and fun exercise techniques. Her passion lies in bridging the gap between post-natal recovery and a safe return to strength and conditioning training.
As a mum of two girls, she understands the amount of pressure that all mums feel and is dedicated to helping them find enjoyment in nourishing their bodies and their minds and creating healthy and sustainable lifelong habits that can be passed down to their children and beyond.
She believes strongly that ‘together we do better’.
Since a young age, Rach has always been passionate about all things health/movement. She completed her degree in Behavioural Health Science (Ex phys and Psychology) in 2004 and worked for many years in the public health sector across a range of roles, including health promotion programs/policy and health service coordination.
After the birth of her first child in 2012, she decided to pursue her passion for connecting/supporting women & mums more closely through health/wellness and it was then she studied to become a health and fitness coach.
Rach started her own business in 2015, not long after the birth of her second little girl. She was passionate about strength and conditioning and wanted to offer a unique experience for mums, one that supported them to achieve their health and fitness goals in a safe, comfortable, child-friendly training environment.
That same year she became pre and postnatal qualified and went on to develop a 10-week training program to specifically address the changes that go alongside pregnancy and post-birth. And so began the evolution of the Back to Base Program (B2B), run specifically for mums and mums to be, in conjunction with local women’s health physios and other specialists in the health field. Four years later this program has continued to evolve and support mums in their health journey to rebuild from the inside, with a focus on both mind and body.
Rach and her amazing team at Base are extremely passionate about supporting women to address all aspects of their health including the physical, emotional and spiritual. They work closely with local health experts in their bid to bridge the gap between allied health and strength and conditioning training through the Back to Base Program, Semi-Private and 1:1 training, small group training as well as 1:1 in-house and online coaching.
Since undertaking private training sessions with Rach, I have noticed a dramatic change in my attitude and overall approach to training. With Rach’s guidance, support and expertise, the training program has helped me adopt a more focused and holistic approach to my health and wellbeing.

Love it! Rach is amazing, very welcoming, warm, positive, attentive and will push you to what you need. The crew she trains with are also amazing, so welcoming and warm which is so important when attending group classes. If you’re unsure, don’t be. This place is great.
Absolutely loved the B2B Post Natal Program! It was a great way to get fit and have some some fun while doing so. It was so great to be able to bring the kids and it was indoors. I wouldn’t be able to have done this great program if I couldn’t have brought my kids along, thank again.
