I started going to Christie at Active Soul after having my second child, coming up 7 years ago now. I loved that I could take my baby to the classes as I didn’t have any family in Auckland to assist with childcare. Everyone was so friendly and I could get into fitness whilst being there for my little girl. I loved it and looked forward to going every week. Although I no longer have babies, I still go to Active Soul. Christie is fantastic and really supportive of what everyone’s personal needs and goals are. I don’t live on the North Shore but it’s worth the drive over the bridge to be part of Active Soul.

Christie is the most amazing trainer, both one on one PT and in the group classes. She has created a wonderful community of smart, passionate and inspiring women who share great laughs while working their butts off!

I have been going to Christie for nearly 2years which is hugely impressive by my exercise standards!! She has kept me motivated, (I have done the same thing twice in the whole time), doesn’t let me quit,( turns up on your doorstep if you don’t make a session). I have had a damaged Achilles and RSI and she adapts the exercises to suit.

I get to start my day with a great bunch of women who inspire me and have become friends, especially Christie who despite my grumpy moods at 6 am puts up with me and I am lucky to call her my friend.

I have been training in Christie’s group once a week for the majority of a year and love it! I have never been a runner and am starting to feel like one thanks to her groups. she is so down to earth, fun and pushes really hard for awesome exercise goals. What I also really love is that it is so kid friendly I have the option of taking my son if I need to. Highly, highly recommend.

I’ve been training with ‘Active Soul’ for 2 months and have seen amazing results in that time. Christie is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm she brings to every session. Her easy going, friendly personality creates a comfortable atmosphere for me for me to train in and she makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun! Christie places a high value on correct form with each exercise and motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get results. As a result, I have increased energy, my balance and flexibility has improved immensely and I feel stronger and healthier. Thanks Christie, you are the best!
